The Forum came into existence on 13th January 1986 and was known as 'The Southern Forum'. It was the initiative of Ms. Dee Kraaij who was a community worker of the Social Services South East Team (London Borough of Barnet).
In 1992, the name was changed to the Cricklewood Community Forum to better reflect its purpose. Since this time, it has continued to operate and serve the community in a variety of guises and is a well respected body within Cricklewood.
Cricklewood is a 'community of communities' but there are issues that transcend them all and there are numerous opportunities where we can support each other and network to the benefit of others. This is the work of the forum.
